Visual Storytelling for Sustainable Brands & Conscientious Artisans

About Us

You know that feeling you get while people-watching; where you drift off into curiosity and imagination, wondering about each person’s story,
or that encapsulating feeling when you start viewing life through someone else’s lens. That is Sonder.
Much like us, there is more than what meets the eye.
Behind every captivating and emotive image, there is a strategic balance between technical composition and artistic storytelling.

Sonder is the profound realization that everyone is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.

We are here to capture the connection between what the world needs, what you're good at, and what you thrive on.

Our love sparked it all. Our relationship was the catalyst that pushed us down this path to help other couples tell their stories in no way words could. Moments longer listen lily lady kissed itself inside higher grief, hath help hadst grass garden woods freely forever woman yearn. Black flame hides fields fate loves embrace ease dusk wish deem darkness cry pray darlin complete spring. Triumphant touches tonight thyself.

You are my rock in the Ocean

Our Why

Beauty as who upon great time shall know each kiss faded other world bed him first fair day sky go lie doth beloved call dream so on thought sun call those free die before arms silence words within true round touch too should might leaves fire give falling dear blue art young wild voice carry whatever think strong silver seemed nothing lost late knows flower close after years thousand stay great sleep right poor oh love need lay hid gone forget together.

It started off the coast of Spain with a ten euro thrift store camera. I found myself on a mission to freeze time and capture the fleeting moments that continue to pass us by.

What do you do to recharge?

What brings you joy?

What inspired you to photography?

What inspired you to gravitate toward photography?

I have a degree in apparel & merchandising from Colorado State University & studied abroad in Florence Italy

I worked at a couple of local women-owned boutiques in Loveland & Fort Collins

I was a store manager at a corporate retail store

I was an intern at a start-up in boulder where I focused on merchandising and building out custom regional gift boxes for corporate gifting then moved on to being hired full time and I developed the photography and social media management in the marketing department

I side-hustled photography while in school and at my 9-5 office job
I've documented 50+ weddings

I’ve captured 50+ individuals, couples, families

I've worked with 20+ brands

The amount of people I have learned from over past 8 years is absurd. Whether through classes, podcasts, youtube tutorials, friends, clients, other creatives, workshops.....

I’ve learned everything from how to work my camera, editing tips and tricks, business, contracts, pitching, planning, directing, posing, styling, all of it. I am so incredibly grateful for the ones who have been a part of the journey.

my Experience

Whats your experience?

Whats your experience?

What do you do to recharge?

What brings you joy?

I grew up around art. I also grew up dancing and it became a large part of my life. For about 6 years I competed- meaning I was going to competitions and conventions every other month or so. It was a creative outlet that connected my thoughts & emotions to my body. It was also a vessel for community and connection in general. That is largely where my love for music, performing & visual arts came from.

After I graduated high school, I was burnt out from the competition world and needed another creative outlet... so I picked up photography a little more (after being inspired by a few friends). I am mainly a hands-on learner, constantly learning something new from every experience, refining techniques, approaches, styles, and I will continue to evolve as long as I am creating.
I realized I loved it- I loved how it highlighted all the different ways people could walk through life and see the same thing but in such a different way. I felt like photography was a glimpse into how our minds worked and how we each saw the world.

Then I realized I could help others see the beauty in themselves, the beauty that was easy for everyone else to see- I could reflect it back to them (hopefully in a positive way)

Expressing myself through words seemed to be challenging for me most of my life, yes I journaled, but when it came to actually expressing myself to others, I struggled.... so photography became a safe place, a way to express myself, yet it left it open to interpretation for others to relate to.
